Never Late is Better
October 21, 2011
You know the saying “better late than never” I hate that saying. BE ON TIME!!!
I am taking Real Estate class that starts at 8:00AM each morning. Now I know that is early but we are training to be professionals and have clients that will one day put a lot of trust in us. Each day, there are 5-10 people who come to class late. Some as many as 30 minutes. It really bothers me! I know I have no control over what other people do. I know they will not make for a very good agent if they are continually late. But it’s just so annoying to me. Why are you interrupting the rest of us who managed to set our alarms and got here on time?
I am very prompt. If I am not 5 minutes early, I am late. I hate being late. I get a sick feeling in my stomach. This may come from the fact that in my previous profession, if I was late, I would be penalized 2 strokes or be disqualified. Maybe we can come up with a penalty system for people who are always late. Give them an equivalent of a 2 shot penalty or DQ them all together!
Funny, how it’s the same people who are always late . They even make a joke about it saying, “Oh you know me, I just can’t get here on time” Bullshit! Leave 10 minutes earlier, get your stuff ready to go before it is time to walk out the door. It’s not that hard. Most people do it everyday. You not being here on time feels a lot like you not respecting my time.
So I will see you around but do me a favor and BE ON TIME!!!!
